1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Foxbarrow", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Foxbarrow, an education provider registered in Malaysia and operating from 33 Persiaran KLCC, 50088 Kuala Lumpur.
• "Participant", "you", "your" — refers to any individual who enrols in or enquires about a Foxbarrow programme.
• "Programme" — refers to any educational workshop, evening course, or cohort offered by Foxbarrow.
• "Content" — refers to all written materials, printed readers, workbooks, session notes, and online content produced by Foxbarrow.
• "Agreement" — refers to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, making a programme payment, or attending any Foxbarrow session, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Our programmes are open to individuals aged 18 and above who have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Malaysian law.

If you are enrolling on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

3. Programme Description

Foxbarrow provides educational programmes that explain pension and annuity concepts in plain English. All content is for educational purposes only. Foxbarrow does not provide financial advice, product recommendations, or investment guidance of any kind.

Participants are expressly advised to seek guidance from a licensed financial adviser or planner for personal recommendations regarding retirement products.

Programmes are offered in Kuala Lumpur, with occasional sessions at partner venues in the Klang Valley. Programme availability, dates, and venues are confirmed at the time of enrolment.

4. Enrolment and Payment

Enrolment: A place in a programme is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute enrolment.

Fees (Malaysian Ringgit):

• What An Annuity Actually Is — RM 480
• Pension Vocabulary Programme — RM 1,290
• The Long Income Reading Cohort — RM 2,490

Payment: Payment is accepted by bank transfer or such other methods as advised at time of booking. Receipts are issued upon payment.

Refunds: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the programme start date are eligible for a full refund less any payment processing fees. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred to a future cohort at our discretion. Foxbarrow reserves the right to cancel a programme and will offer a full refund in that event.

5. Participant Responsibilities

• Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants during sessions.
• Session materials, printed readers, and workbooks are provided for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold.
• Recording of sessions by audio or video without prior written consent from Foxbarrow is not permitted.
• Participants accept that facilitators will not provide personal financial advice during or after sessions.

6. Intellectual Property

All programme content, printed materials, reading lists, workbooks, and website content are the intellectual property of Foxbarrow unless otherwise attributed to a third-party source.

Participants are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials provided during a programme for their own personal reference. No other use is permitted without prior written consent.

7. Educational Nature of Content

All content presented in Foxbarrow programmes is educational in nature and reflects publicly available information at the time of preparation. It does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice of any kind.

Foxbarrow does not represent that any content is current, complete, or accurate for any specific individual's circumstances. Participants should independently verify all information with qualified professionals before making financial decisions.

Foxbarrow is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any financial institution, insurer, or product provider.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Foxbarrow's liability for any claim arising from participation in a programme or use of our website is limited to the amount paid for the relevant programme.

Foxbarrow accepts no liability for any financial decisions made by participants following attendance at a programme. All such decisions are the sole responsibility of the participant.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before commencing legal proceedings, parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at [email protected].

10. Changes to These Terms

Foxbarrow reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. The date of the most recent revision is displayed at the top of this page. Continued participation in programmes after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes, we will notify enrolled participants by email where possible.
