Three Programmes
One Carriage, Three Stations — Pick Your Stop
A single workshop to start building vocabulary, a four-session evening course to go further, or a ten-week reading cohort for those who want depth. All educational; none advisory.

The Foxbarrow Approach
Concept First
Every session builds from definition to application. We do not assume any prior vocabulary — we construct it together, step by step.
Discussion-Based
Lectures have their place, but understanding sticks when it is tested in conversation. All programmes include facilitated Q&A as a core element, not a bonus.
Physical Materials
Printed readers and workbooks mean you leave with something to annotate and return to — not just a slideshow you half-remember.
Programme 01 · Single Session
What An Annuity Actually Is
This introductory single-session workshop covers, in plain English, the concept of annuities and pensions as broad financial-product categories — their structure, common features, and the kinds of questions consumers should bring to a licensed adviser when discussing them. No product recommendations are made.
The session runs for approximately three hours including discussion and break. It is the right starting point for someone who has never read a pension document or spoken with an adviser about retirement income.
What the Session Covers
- What an annuity is and how it differs from a savings account
- How pension products are broadly structured in Malaysia
- Key terms that appear in product disclosure documents
- Questions worth asking a licensed adviser before making decisions

Educational only — participants are directed to licensed advisers for personal recommendations.
Sessions run on weekday evenings, typically 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, over four consecutive weeks. A session summary is shared after each evening.
What the Course Covers
- Defined contribution vs defined benefit: what the terms actually mean
- EPF structure, withdrawal rules, and account types explained
- Private Retirement Schemes: broad structure and purpose

Programme 03 · 10-Week Cohort
The Long Income Reading Cohort
A 10-week cohort programme studying how retirement-income concepts are publicly discussed and structured at a high level. Includes a curated reading list drawn from public reports, official publications, and book excerpts; weekly facilitated discussion; a printed reader compiled specifically for each cohort; and a closing personal reflection workbook.
The programme does not provide individual financial advice. It is designed for participants who want to engage seriously with publicly available material on the subject and arrive at their own considered questions.
What the Cohort Includes
- Curated reading list: public reports, regulatory documents, book excerpts
- Printed reader compiled for the cohort year — yours to keep
- Weekly 90-minute facilitated group discussion
- Closing personal reflection workbook
